Heritage International School was founded in the year 2018 by Ch. Lahri Singh Educational and Welfare Trust.

The school is located at village Gangana about sixteen kilometres from Gohana city District Sonepat,Haryana.
It is situated in a beautiful countryside atmosphere with plentiful of eye soothing greenery which is free from teeming the dust and loud commotion of the city. It exposes students’ centred approach in the broadest sense offering unlimited opportunities for students to discover themselves and the world around.

As one goes through its short period of establishment, one finds why Heritage International School is acknowledged as the best English medium co-educational school in the region and particularly in rural atmosphere.
The unique features of the school and the signs of its confidence give strength to erect a good future to it.

History

The inspiration for Heritage International School first came into the mind when a small group of parents, well-wishers and friends envisioned a motto based on the premise that good education is the high road to both individual and national progress. As it has been said that it is good to have an end to journey towards but it is the journey that matters in the end.

The idea came from some versatile genius intellectuals.It struck the minds of heritage family members' minds by January 2018. This idea helped to build a good school and thus The Heritage International School was born at village Gangana, near Gohana city under the parasol of Ch.Lahri Singh Educational and Welfare Trust from Nursery to 8th grade students. The mission of the school was to provide students a valley of treasure with a quality education. The school continued to expand and it got a good strength of almost 300 students.

Soon after the crucial time occurred in the year 2020.The corona virus disease spread all over the world. It affected the Heritage family also but not to lose heart. It had pioneer teachers, parents and friends. It fought back and got a good strength of students again in the year 2022.

The school received tremendous success in imparting good education as it was its motto since its inception and over a short period of just five years. The school has been playing a signification role in educational and cultural rejuvenation since then.It has changed the rural scenario into a urban facilitated schools. HIS always endeavours’ to provide education that is unique synergy of values from the Indian culture and heritage.

The aim of HIS is to inculcate in students a thirst for knowledge, devotion to duly honesty and a patriotic fervour besides humanism.

It is a day boarding Co- educational English Medium school expanded in 5 acre area enabled with Wi-Fi campus, spacious classrooms, computerised labs. It follows the NCERT curriculum. It is one of the best English medium schools in the region. At present it has a good strength of students.

Achievements

Heritage International School has excelled not only in academics but also in sports, games and other extracurricular activities too.
Besides these, the school students have shown outstanding performance in the various competitions and cultural activities. There is always a moment of pride when we say that a student of Heritage International School has shown an excellent performance. The corner stones of our other achievements are integrity, teamwork, accountability, sharing common vision and focus on professional and personal growth of students.

Mr.Jatin and Harender, the students of class 7th and 8th were selected for state level cricket team. They played for District Sonepat Cricket Team, Haryana in 2018-19. The team got the 2nd position title in the state.

One of our students named Ms. Jyoti got admission in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) in 2019-20 after she had passed out JNV ST.

Radhe Ghanghas, a student of 4th standard bagged the 1st position in State Grappling Championship 2023 under 34 kg weight category.
